About us

St Mary’s parish dates from 1848; its present structure was completed in 1905. Today it is one of ten Episcopalian parishes on Staten Island and a member of both the Staten Island Interparish Council and the Staten Island Council of Churches. This parish is dedicated to and named for Our Lady, the Blessed Mary, the woman chosen to be the Mother of God.

Everyone at St. Mary’s is welcomed and encouraged to get involved in the life of the parish. There are many ways to get involved, such as becoming an usher, hosting coffee hour, assisting at the altar, joining the altar guild or starting a new ministry that you’re passionate about. You play an important role at St. Mary’s, wherever you feel called!
